David is an experienced commercial property solicitor who can advise on acquisitions and disposals, secured lending, property development, landlord and tenant and property pensions work. David also has specialist experience in acting for clients in the healthcare and charity sectors.
David joined Trethowans in 2005, having trained and qualified with a City firm in 2000.
Alongside his client work, David fulfils a compliance role for the firm. He is a member of the Law Society.

David recently completed a lease for a landlord of high value commercial premises in a very short time scale where the client commented "David was very persistent and prompt, and was very good at dealing with all aspects of a complex lease transaction".

David has completed a large number of secured lending instructions for banks, where he provides a quick, commercial and efficient service. Clients and referrers have described David as being "outstanding" to deal with and that he brings a "calming and positive influence" to transactions.

David acts for Ladbrokes on their commercial property work, and recently advised them on a complex conditional development agreement which needed to be completed within a short timescale to meet the client's commercial objectives.
AWAY FROM THE OFFICE ...
David lives locally in Salisbury and is a father to a young and sporty son. He enjoys road and mountain biking, rugby, cricket and football.
