Jane is a Solicitor in Trethowans’ corporate and commercial team. She qualified in November 2011 after training with Trethowans and provides transactional support on corporate deals as well as advice on general commercial agreements.

Jane has complimentary experience in commercial property and commercial litigation as well as 6 months experience in corporate finance which she gained on secondment to Meridian Corporate Finance. During her secondment Jane gained invaluable experience in acquisitions, sales, MBOs/MBIs and fundraising as well as involvement with Meridian’s Growth Capital Fund. These experiences as well as her previous employment as a project manager in the NHS provide her with a broader knowledge base to compliment her corporate and commercial experience.

Jane studied Law and Accounting at The University of Manchester, graduating in July 2005.　She completed her Legal Practice Course at BPP Manchester in 2007, achieving a Distinction.

EXAMPLES OF HOW JANE HAS HELPED CLIENTS INCLUDE:

Jane works under the supervision of a Partner to provide assistance to clients. Examples of ways she has assisted include:

Working as part of the corporate acquisitions team to assist with due diligence and disclosure exercises on £multi-million M&A transactions;
Acting as an efficient and responsive point of contact on corporate transactions;
Supporting Partners on a number of investments.
