John advises a wide range of clients on all aspects of commercial property transactions including landlords, tenants and investors. Two particular areas of expertise include advising on the acquisition and disposal of business premises and all aspects of the leasing process.

- Qualified as a Solicitor in 1969
- Joined Trethowans in 1974
- Became Partner in 1975
- Was Managing Partner from 1989 to 1998
- Made Senior Partner in 2002
