Marcus handles sales and purchases of country houses, farms and equestrian properties and also deals with all aspects of rural property work, including:
- Easements (access & rights for gas, water & electricity pipelines)
- Telecommunication agreements
- Private water supply agreements
- Shooting, fishing & woodland leases
- Farm business tenancies, grazing and herbage agreements
- Voluntary first registrations
Marcus acts for banks in respect of secured lending on substantial rural properties. In addition, he acts for pension trustees in respect of the sale and purchase of rural properties and occupational leases as part of Self Invested Personal Pensions (SIPPs).
Marcus also offers property advice relating to trusts and estate planning, in particular Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax Law.
