Miriam is the Head of the firm’s Private Client Team, which advises individuals on the protection of their property, capital and other assets during their lifetime and upon their death. Advice covers Wills, Trusts, Tax Planning, Probate, Estate Administration and Lasting Powers of Attorney.

Miriam specialises in advising on domestic Inheritance Tax planning for those based in the UK. She also provides related advice on the creation and administration of Trusts and works closely with each client to identify the most suitable tax-saving measures for them.

  • Joined Trethowans as a Trainee Solicitor in 1993
  • Qualified as a Solicitor in 1995
  • Made an Associate in 2001
  • Made a Partner in 2004
  • Made Head of the Private Client Team in 2006
