Rebecca has extensive experience in general commercial and intellectual property law, advising on a broad range of business to business transactions and intellectual property law matters including exploitation of intellectual property, brand protection and advertising and marketing issues. She also advises in relation to competition law, data protection, e-commerce and I.T. matters.

Rebecca worked for many years in the European legal team of a leading global health and hygiene corporation where she had responsibility for providing legal advice across a range of well-known consumer and professional health care brands and providing advice to the corporation’s businesses throughout Europe.

She has particular experience in the FMCG sector and in relation to medical devices and cosmetic products.

Rebecca joined Trethowans in 2007 and works closely with Catherine MacRae and the Corporate Team, with a focus on commercial and intellectual property matters.

Rebecca also speaks German fluently.
