The Team handles over 900 property transactions for pension funds (SIPP's and SASS's) each year for James Hay Pension Trustees Limited (part of the Banco Santander Group) and other major Pension trustees including Alliance Trust, Legal and General, and JLT Pensions.
We work closely with pension scheme trustees, their property managers and many of the lenders so that pre- and post-purchase legal documentation and procedures reflect the needs of the trustees, any pension plan members and their lenders. Moreover, our expert knowledge of commercial property in a pension context ensures that all of their property transactions are fully compliant with HMRC’s complex regulations.
Our policy of open and frequent communication means the trustees pension plan members and their financial advisers are kept up to date with progress of the transaction.
