Tenancy Deposit Schemes Podcast
The Tenancy Deposit Scheme podcast relates to the new legal obigation in relation to Assured Shorthold Tenancies where the tenant pays a deposit for the Landlord to register with the deposit with one of the 3 Government approved schemes. The consequences of non-compliance are that the Landlord cannot recover possession of the property at the end of the Tenancy and a fine is payable.
