The Salisbury Big Business Event was a new event for Salisbury in 2012. Following on from the success of this, an even bigger event that will support businesses of all sizes has been planned for 2013.
This three day event will feature notable guest speakers, networking opportunities and free advice from a wide variety of dedicated business professionals.
The 2012 event was the first of its kind in the area and offered attending businesses free advice and information. There were 22 stands and more than 30 seminars over the 3 days
There is no cost to attend and no sales pitches from the exhibitors, just free information and advice. The aim of the event is to help give "something for nothing" to every attending business. This event has helped to put Salisbury firmly on the business map.
Trethowans was delighted to be one of the main sponsor in 2012 and will be again in 2013. Simon Rhodes, our Managing Partner, instigated the event and was part of the organising committee, together with Salisbury City Council, the Federation of Small Businesses, Salisbury City Centre Management and Salisbury Chamber of Commerce.
The event attracts a huge amount of media interest with extensive coverage on television, radio and in the press, most notably from BBC South Today, Meridian, Spire FM and the Salisbury Journal.
