Dismissing employees

It is a fact that all employment relationships come to an end at some point and therefore one of the most important issues faced by employers is how to fairly dismiss an employee.

When considering a dismissal, there are two elements to consider:

  • the reason for the dismissal; and
  • the procedure you must follow.

The most common reasons for terminating someone’s employment are conduct, performance, redundancy and some other substantial reason.  Please follow the links to find out more.
