We are looking for a Facilities and Maintenance Assistant to join our Facilities Team. The role is based in our Poole Office; however the successful candidate will undertake duties in all of the Firm’s office locations as required.
You will support the Facilities Manager in the maintenance of the Firm’s offices to ensure the upkeep, safety and security of the Firm’s premises.
Key duties will include assisting with the general upkeep of the buildings and grounds, carrying out minor repairs where appropriate, assisting with moving office furniture, supervision of contractors as required and undertaking residential property maintenance tasks as requested by the Firm’s Private Client team.
You will have practical experience of DIY, plumbing and general maintenance and repairs; ideally within a large office environment. The successful candidate will have good communication skills and a flexible approach to tasks.
This is a part time vacancy, ideally working mornings Monday to Friday; however alternative hours may be considered. Although you will not need to be a qualified tradesperson, this role would ideally be suited to someone with experience as a tradesperson and someone that is able to oversee qualified contractors. Candidates must hold a full driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.
