You may be entitled to compensation if you are suffering with an illness, such as:
• cancer; including bladder, lung, throat, liver, nasal and skin
• respiratory disease or illness
• dermatitis & skin conditions
• asbestos related illnesses such as mesothelioma, COPD, asbestosis and pleural thickening
• occupational asthma
A claim must be made within 3 years of the date you first became aware of the illness, therefore it is important to seek professional advice as soon as possible. A claim can be made on behalf of a relative who has passed away, but it must be made within 3 years of the date of their death. If you’re unsure whether or not you have a claim for compensation, come along to the clinic and speak with one of our specialist advisors.
No appointment is necessary. The clinics are a walk-in advice service that is open from 10am until 6pm. If you are unable to attend one of our sessions, we can also arrange a free telephone consultation. Any ongoing legal support you may require is offered on a NO WIN NO FEE basis.
What happens at the drop-in clinic?
You can come along to our clinic on Tuesday 21st March, at a time suitable for you between 10am and 6pm and speak to one our of specialist solicitors. Our advisors are there to listen to your circumstances and provide an initial opinion on any claim you may have. You are under no obligation and this advice is offered free to help explain your legal rights and your potential options.
What should you bring to the clinic?
Although you do not need to bring anything with you to the drop-in session, if you have any documentation or paperwork that you would like to discuss with our advisors, please feel free to bring them along.
