For two weeks in the summer the team at Trethowans Solicitors participated in the Naomi House "Make your Will Fortnight”. During this time, the team prepared a number of Wills free of charge in return for the individuals making a donation to Naomi House.
This was part of the Naomi House legacy appeal to explain how gifts in Wills can make a difference to the work of the hospice. Naomi House is a hospice that provides support to children and young people with conditions that mean they are unlikely to live to become adults.
Commenting on the money raised, Paula Flower at Naomi House said; "The money that Trethowans have helped us to raise is really valuable to the work we do at Naomi House. In addition to the money raised it’s also helped us raise awareness of the work we do at the hospice. Gifts in people’s Wills, no matter what size, help us to make long term plans and guarantee that we can provide crucial services for many years to come. We are really grateful to Trethowans for their support.”
Karen Perugini, Head of the Wills, Probate and Trusts Team at Trethowans commented; "It’s really important that people have a Will in place that is up to date and reflects their wishes. We are delighted that Trethowans has helped to raise this money which I know will help Naomi House considerably to continue their good work in providing support to children and young people.”
