Caroline has specialised in alcohol and entertainment licensing law since qualifying in 1996. Having previously worked at Richards Butler (now Reed Smith) and niche betting/gaming practice, Harris Hagan, she joined Trethowans in 2010 as a partner.

Caroline has acted for a wide range of clients, from large, multi-site companies to small independent operators, many of whom are household names.

She advises on all aspects of licensing law and associated matters. She also works closely with the firm’s corporate and commercial teams on transactions requiring licensing due diligence.
