Crystal completed her training contract with Trethowans and qualified as a Solicitor into the Family Team in November 2010.

Crystal is a solicitor specialising in family law.  She provides advice in relation to divorce and civil partnership dissolution and the associated financial claims.  She also advises in cases following the separation of a cohabiting couple.  In addition she drafts pre-marital agreements and cohabitation agreements and advises in disputes involving children.

Crystal is a member of Resolution and subscribes to their code of conduct, ensuring that the advice and guidance she provides promotes settlement and alternative dispute resolution where possible.  Part of Crystal’s role is to empathise with clients and put them at ease whilst offering guidance and options in relation to their specific situation.

Crystal studied Law at the University of Southampton and graduated in 2007 before going on to complete the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at the College of Law Guildford in 2008.  Crystal joined Trethowans LLP in July 2008.

Away from the office ...

Crystal enjoys playing sport, particularly tennis and netball.  Crystal also enjoys snowboarding holidays and going to the theatre and music concerts.
