Emma is a Chartered Legal Executive in the Commercial Property team.
Emma joined the Commercial Property Team in February 2011 as a legal secretary, becoming a full time fee earner in April 2012. Emma studied to become a Chartered Legal Executive lawyer whilst working full time for Trethowans and completed her exams in the summer of 2013. She was admitted as a Chartered Legal Executive on the 24th March 2015.
As part of her qualification Emma undertook exams in Land Law, Landlord and Tenant Law, Company and Partnership Law and Conveyancing Practice.
Emma deals with a variety of commercial property transactions for both individual and company clients including pension trustees. This includes the acquisition and disposal of commercial property, in-specie transfers for pension companies, the grant of new leases on behalf of both landlords and tenants, lease assignments and legal charges.
Emma is also experienced in residential conveyancing covering sales and purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity.
Away from the office...
In her spare time, Emma enjoys music, travelling, spending time with friends, cycling and running. As a fairly new runner she has just completed her first 10k race and is trying to find time to train for the Great South Run later this year.
