Holly is a solicitor in the Private Client Team. She qualified as a Solicitor in November 2012. Her work includes advising private clients in personal matters such as the preparation of new Wills or reviewing current Wills and putting in place Lasting Powers of Attorney. Holly particularly enjoys assisting clients to put in place Lasting Powers of Attorney because she appreciates their importance and likes knowing that her clients’ interests are protected in the possible event of loss of mental capacity.
Holly also takes great pleasure in knowing that she has provided assistance and support in more difficult and sensitive matters such as applying to the Court of Protection in relation to Statutory Wills and Deputyship Orders and also assisting in the administration of a deceased’s estate. Holly’s role in the team includes setting up and administering Trusts too.
Living in Southampton means that Holly is often found in the firm’s Southampton office providing her services to the firm’s Southampton private client base.
She studied Law at Bournemouth University where she spent a placement year as a legal and administrative assistant. After completing her LPC at Guildford College of Law she joined Trethowans in 2009 as a Receptionist before becoming a Legal Secretary and then starting her training contract in November 2010.
Away from the office...
