James is a Solicitor in the Personal Injury Team having completed his training contract with Trethowans and qualifying as a Solicitor in November 2009.
James joined Trethowans in November 2007 after completing a Law Degree at Gonville and Caius College at Cambridge University in July 2006, and the Legal Practice Course at Bournemouth University in July 2007.
He handles personal injury work for both claimants and defendants.

- James has assisted other solicitors and partners in obtaining successful outcomes in a wide variety of matters and cases, both throughout the Personal Injury team and in other teams that he has gained experience during his training contract.
- Helped client's progress their claims under the close supervision of a nominated partner.
- Met and accompanied clients at Court hearings and clerked Counsel where necessary.
- Have been a useful contact for queries from both potential and existing clients.
Away from the office ...
James enjoys watching and participating in most sports, particularly football, cricket, hockey and rugby. He is also a keen supporter of Southampton Football Club and Hampshire County Cricket Club.
