James qualified in 1972 and practiced in London and Thames valley for 25 years dealing with all aspects of personal injury law. James has acted for major European Insurance companies for many years.

The independent legal directories have recommended James for his investigative and negotiation skills.

James joined Trethowans as a consultant member of the LLP in November 2010.
