Jodie is a specialist paralegal in the Private Client Team. She joined Trethowans in April 2008 and qualified as a Paralegal in March 2011. She is a Member of the Society of Specialist Paralegals (MSSP) and after 2 years relevant experience will become a Fellow of the Society of Specialist Paralegals (FSSP). Her work currently involves assisting the lawyers in the team with Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and probate matters.
Examples of how Jodie has helped clients include:
- Jodie assisted in a scheme whereby clients could make their Wills with Trethowans in exchange for a donation to a local charity offering respite care to sick children and their families. £800 was raised for the charity.
- Jodie is currently dealing with probate matters of a husband and wife who appointed each other as Executors and who died two months apart.
Away from the office...
Out of the office Jodie is a qualified horse riding instructor (BHSAI) and still enjoys riding when she can. She enjoys going to football with her son and has been known to attend matches anywhere from Liverpool to Rome. She has recently married and enjoyed a honeymoon trip up the West Coast of the USA.
