-Investment - purchase, sale and letting of commercial properties for private individuals through to Plc's
-Property Finance - working for lenders on taking security and reviewing existing arrangements. These matters often involve portfolios and multi million pound facilities.

One Plc client recently described Paul at the end of a significant and protracted deal as "completely unflappable".
Chambers (2018) list Paul as a Notable Practitioner who continues to advise on property finance matters, as well as a number of development schemes. Sources say that he is "very good at taking a practical view on what is important."
Legal 500 (2017) highly recommend Paul, stating he ‘is a highly experienced and knowledgeable commercial property lawyer’
Examples of how Paul has helped clients include:
- Acting for a buyer Paul recently allowed a client the opportunity to negotiate a substantial discount on a commercial investment purchase by identifying defective drafting on occupational leases.
- Paul was praised by a developer client on a major mixed use scheme for his "practical and no-nonsense approach" which allowed the freehold purchase and pre-let documentation to be completed within tight timescales.
Away from the office...
