We can also assist if you have a claim that falls into one of the categories below. If you have been injured and it was not your fault, contact us for expert advice on whether you have a claim.
Faulty products
Unfortunately some products that we buy or use may be faulty. Sometimes the defective products cause injuries. If so, it may be possible to make a compensation claim against the sellers and/or manufacturers of the product.
Examples include a faulty electric kitchen apparatus that caused a client to suffer an electric shock.
Sports injuries
If sports are not properly run, managed and supervised, participants may suffer injuries. There is usually an element of risk in all sports which is accepted by the participants. However, as a participant in any organised sport you are entitled to expect that you will be organised, supervised, and trained with a reasonable standard of care and will be provided with the right equipment. If there is a failure to do so and you suffer an injury which could otherwise have been avoided, then you may have a claim.
CICA claims
If you are a victim of a crime of violence, you can make a claim to the government run Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA) to recover compensation for your injuries and losses. We can assist you with making such claims.
Animal-related injuries
If you have been injured by an animal, you may have a claim if it can been established that the animal's owner failed to keep the animal under control and knew that there was a risk of injury. These claims can be difficult to prove so contact us for expert advice about how to pursue such a claim.
