Advising a family in Oxford on the setting up of a charitable trust for the promotion of public health.
The clients wished to make a large donation to the charity which could then be used to enable a local hospital to rent a substantial piece of medical equipment to allow the hospital to offer a screening service to the general public.
We advised on the setting up of the charity and liaising with the charity commission to ensure that the monies could be lent to the hospital.
