Charity dinner is a record-breaker
Staff from Salisbury-based legal firm, Trethowans, have helped to raise £5,600 for people with spinal injuries.
Every year the company's personal injury team invites guests to a charity dinner in aid of the Spinal Injuries Association and this year's event, held at the White Hart Hotel, raised the highest total to date.
More than 80 people attended the dinner and auction, which included top prizes such as Manchester United vs Saints tickets and afternoon tea at The Ritz. The highest bid of the night was £1,000 for a glove signed by Mohamed Ali.
Chris Whiteley, managing partner, said: "The Spinal Injuries Association does incredible work across the UK and relies on charitable donations to keep providing the vital support and care it is renowned for. We are absolutely thrilled to have raised so much money for charity and know it will be put to very good use."
Trethowans' personal injury team is a Gold supporter of the Spinal Injuries Association and last year won the SIA Torch award for its fundraising efforts.
