Joe Glover Trust selected as charity of the year
The Joe Glover Trust has been selected as Trethowans’ charity of the year for its Southampton and Winchester offices.
Staff at the law firm say they are looking forward to a year of fundraising for the worthy cause, which gives practical and financial support to children who have been diagnosed with cancer and their families.
Chris Whiteley, managing partner at Trethowans, says: “The Joe Glover Trust is such a fantastic charity and we’re delighted to support the cause as one of our official charities of the year. Giving back to the communities we work in is really important to us and we’ll be working hard over the next 12 months to raise as much as we can for the charity.”
The Joe Glover Trust could well get a significant boost as a result of being the charity of the year. The firm’s local teams donated £6,659.84 to Rainbow Trust through fundraising and the provision of free legal services as its previous nominated cause.
Jane Wilmshurst from The Joe Glover Trust said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be chosen as Trethowans’ charity again. They are wonderful supporters of the charity and work so hard to raise funds and awareness for us, so we are very excited about partnership over the forthcoming year. Their support makes a huge difference to the lives of some very special children and their families.”
