Katie Harris skydives for children’s hospice

Sky-Dive

Katie Harris, a legal secretary in Trethowans Bournemouth office has raised £450 for local children’s hospice, Julia’s House, after completing a skydive from 10,000ft.

Katie took to the skies to complete the hair-raising challenge in a bid to raise money for the hospice, which provides care and support for children with life-limiting or life-threatening conditions across Dorset and Wiltshire.

Katie said, “Julia’s House has played a big role in helping some of my own friends and family, so I have seen first-hand the wonderful work that they carry out.
“Thank you to everyone who donated. I’m terrified of heights, but Julia’s House relies solely on donations so I know that any contribution, no matter how big or small, is always hugely appreciated – plus it meant that I couldn’t chicken out!”

Mark Nixon, Head of Trethowans’ Bournemouth office and trustee of Julia’s House, commented, “Julia’s House is an incredible charity that has helped so many families in our community through the most difficult times imaginable. A special well done to Katie for facing her fears for this amazing cause.”
