Parting is such sweet sorrow

For a novel way to resign from your employment, you may want to tear a page from Chris Holme's recipe book.

Mr Holme worked for the Border Force at Stansted Airport but in his spare time he baked cakes.  After Mr Holme decided to pursue his passion for baking full time, he came up with an ingenious way to tender his resignation.  Mr Holme painstakingly created his resignation letter in sponge and icing and presented this to his employer. 

Not only was this a unique way to get his message across but it served as a fantastic advertisement for his new business.
