Trethowans completes purchase of StaffAid by MCG Group

Trethowans’ corporate team in Bournemouth has successfully advised on the purchase of Lincoln-based nursing agency, StaffAid, by multi-national recruitment company, MCG Group.

The deal, which completed on Friday 28 May, was the fourth in a series of acquisitions handled by Trethowans on behalf of the rapidly growing MCG Group.

MCG Group provides recruitment services for a range of sectors, specialising in aerospace, construction, education and technology, with the latest acquisition complementing its thriving healthcare division.

Trethowans’ corporate team led by partner, Mark Nixon, and associate solicitor, Jonathan Sherman, managed the transaction from beginning to end, handling the negotiation, the preparation of legal documents, and due diligence checks.

Specialists from Trethowans’ commercial property, tax and banking teams also played an important role in the successful execution of the sale, collaborating on necessary aspects to ensure a swift completion.
