Trethowans throws support behind The News’ Business Excellence Awards
Trethowans has thrown its support behind The News’ Business Excellence Awards, coming on board as lead sponsor of the 2017 event.
The firm is no stranger to awards success, having won the deal of the year category of the Solent Deals Awards earlier this year and holding a collection of awards and accolades going back for decades.
Trethowans are increasingly working with businesses in the Portsmouth area, offering advice on everything from mergers and acquisitions to data protection, employment law and licensing. Its team, which includes 35 partners and more than 90 lawyers, also advises individuals on a wide range of legal issues including property, divorce, personal injury, wills and inheritance tax planning.
Lucy Grey, a senior corporate lawyer at Trethowans, says the firm is excited to sponsor the Business Excellence Awards for the first time in 2017. She added: “Portsmouth has a thriving and highly successful business community, with companies doing fantastic work that is doing the entire region proud. We’re delighted to support the Business Excellence Awards, which play a vital role in shining a light on these important achievements.”
The News editor Mark Waldron said: “We have been running these awards for 16 years now but we still get excited each time we launch them. These awards are our way of celebrating the excellent examples of business that we have in our area.
“This year we welcome onboard our new sponsors, Trethowans, who I am very much looking forward to working with to make sure these awards are as brilliant as ever.”
