Trethowans has unveiled the promotion of three Southampton solicitors, two of which are from its growing private client team.

Mihiri Gajraj, team leader in the private client team in Southampton, has been made a senior associate after two years with the firm. In addition to her role at Trethowans, she is a committee member of STEP Central South Branch, the professional association for practitioners who specialise in family inheritance and succession planning.

Holly Algar, who also works in the private client team, has been promoted to an associate. She has been with Trethowans since 2009, qualifying as solicitor in 2012 and is described as a “great ambassador” for the firm.

Both Holly and Mihiri help their clients plan for the future which includes putting in place documents such as Wills and Powers of Attorney. They also help their clients with probate, trusts and tax planning.

Catherine Duthie completes the hat-trick of promotions at Trethowans’ Southampton office. Catherine is a key member of Trethowans’ residential property team and has helped to grow the division by developing relationships with agents, mortgage brokers and those referred to the team.

Managing Partner, Chris Whiteley, said: “These promotions underpin the continued growth of our Southampton office, which continues to go from strength to strength. All three embody the spirit of Trethowans; combining unrivalled knowledge with a commitment to going the extra mile.”

Trethowans has made further promotions across its other locations in the South. Jenni Wicheard has been made a senior associate in Salisbury, while Martha Swann has been made an associate in Poole.
