I am head of Commercial Litigation in the Poole office, with wide experience of all forms of Civil and Commercial Litigation over 20 years. I advise on all contractual and commercial matters for private and commercial clients and have particular experience in disputesm including professional negligence, contentious probate and claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975. I am a member of ACTAPS (Association of Contentious Trusts and Probate Specialists).
I work closely with Barristers and where appropriate I use my considerable experience in advocacy, having represented clients in proceedings in the County Court and High Court.

Acting for a widow in a claim against her late husband’s estate which was left substantially to charity. Resolved by securing a substantial award from the estate.
Acting for a beneficiary of an estate where it was necessary to apply for removal of an executor from office. Resolved satisfactory at first instance and on appeal. Reported in Lawtel.
Acted for a claimant in recovering money arising from a fraud which involved new interpretation of the law on limitation. Heard on second appeal in Court of Appeal. Reported in All E.R.
Acted for charity in recovering damages of £1m for negligence arising from planning consultants’ mistake.
Acted for individual who successfully sought judicial review of CPS failure to prosecute a third party. Reported in All E.R.
Acted for charity in recovering damages of £2m for fraud from former property consultant.

Away from the office
Outside of work I can often be found on a tennis court. I also have a passion for skiing and when time allows look for relaxation in all corners of France.
