Employers retain me for HR support in disciplinary, performance and sickness related issues and to be a confidential independent sounding board. I regularly advise on TUPE compliance and contractual matters, including post-termination restrictions and confidentiality.
I am also skilled at running cases in the Employment Tribunal and Employment Appeal Tribunal. I have provided tailored advice on holiday pay to an employer with multiple working arrangements and to clients in the care sector on National Living Wage compliance and the SCCS.
For employees, I provide practical guidance on all aspects of employment law. Where indicated, I support and assist in identifying and achieving realistic objectives, particularly concerning redundancy, discrimination and unfair dismissal.
In my immigration practice, I provide businesses with strategic and operational guidance concerning sponsorship licences and their renewal, tier 1 (investor), tier 2, right to work checks and general compliance with the Immigration Rules.
For individuals, I assist with the preparation of visa applications by spouses and unmarried partners under Appendix FM (both in and outside the UK), for general visits and other personal applications for both limited and indefinite leave to enter/remain. I advise on and run immigration reviews and appeal and assist in applications for British citizenship, including applications by citizens of EU countries.
I am also a member of the Immigration Law Practitioners’ Association.

What others say

“The quality of their legal advice was first class and, in my opinion, superior to many of the large firms that I have previously used. Their response to issues was always prompt and pragmatic.
