I am a second-year trainee solicitor, due to qualify in September 2019 and currently undertaking my third seat in the busy Commercial Property team which advises corporate and private clients across the country. I provide support to fee earners across a wide range of commercial property matters but have a particular interest in asset finance transactions. I can draw on my own finance background to add value where bespoke security structures or priority arrangements are needed.
I started my training contract on secondment with Meridian Corporate Finance, having previously worked as a Paralegal in the Trethowans’ Banking team. I bring this transactional experience to my current work, particularly when advising lenders or corporate borrowers on security matters.
I read Law at University College London, graduating with a 2:1 in Law in 2010.
Thereafter, I spent time in both the public and private sectors in demanding management roles but returned to pursue my dream of a legal career, completing the LPC at the University of Law (achieving Commendation) before joining Trethowans.
Away from the office
I serve as an Army Reservist Officer and enjoy pushing myself physically, and calisthenics. I swim, cycle and run so that I can camouflage my questionable eating habits.
In between workouts I enjoy learning about and dabbling in cryptocurrencies.
