I am a Corporate lawyer specialising in acquisitions and disposals, with particular experience in the accountancy sector. I also act for companies and individuals in relation to shareholder, LLP and partnership agreements.
I qualified in 2011 with another regional firm, making Associate in 2015. I joined Trethowans in November 2015 and was made Senior Associate in 2017.
"We use Jamie Earley for the group’s M&A and corporate work and whilst he has a high level of technical expertise he is also extremely personable and easy to work with which makes him a rare breed! In addition to that Jamie is also able to identify pragmatic solutions, to often complicated problems, that are sometimes a mixture of legal and commercial points. Overall we’ve found Jamie to be extremely professional and diligent and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending him." - Richard Keyes, Managing Partner, The Taylor Cocks Partnership.

What others say
“Jamie did a great job of actually understanding what we were about and also understanding our business… he grasped that very quickly.”
“Right from the very first meeting with Mike and Jamie from Trethowans, we felt at ease due to their professional approach. At times during the course of selling our family business we did get slightly overwhelmed, but Mike, Jamie and Nicola were always on hand at the end of a phone or by email to help when we got out of our depth. When completion took place and we crossed the finishing line, it made us realise how efficient and experienced Trethowans were.”
Away from the office
I enjoy watching (and occasionally) playing cricket. I follow Hampshire and England and am a season ticket holder at Hampshire.
I have also recently found a new love for running, completing my first half marathon in 2017; I try to race at least once a month. On a Saturday, I am either participating or volunteering at my local Park Run.
