I joined the Trethowans’ Commercial Property Team in Salisbury in May 2017. I qualified as a solicitor in 2000, having trained at a large firm in Bristol for many years. My clients commend me for my practical and pragmatic approach, my commercial acumen and my responsiveness to their requirements.
“It has been a pleasure to deal with you in this matter which merely mirrors my other dealings with your firm over the last decade or so.” - Client
Areas of Expertise
I have acted for an NHS Trust to help that body achieve completion of the sale of part of a hospital site at a price of over £25M by the end of that Trust’s financial year end, thus ensuring that it did not lose vital funding for the following financial year and also generated funds for the construction of a new hospital. The transaction involved working to tight deadlines and liaising with the other parties’ solicitors to overcome complex drafting issues including overage and clawback provisions, deferred payment of the consideration and a leaseback of part to enable the Trust to continue providing healthcare services from the old hospital until the new hospital had been constructed.
