Karen heads up the firm’s Licensing Team. She has over 20 years of specialist licensing experience and can help with all types of premises licensing.
Karen is responsible for managing the licensing requirements of several large national restaurant chains to include all new premises licence applications throughout England and Wales as well as changes to existing restaurants such as amending the layout and/or operational requirements; DPS variations; payment of annual fees and applications by staff for their personal licences. As a result Karen is familiar with licensing policies nationwide and enjoys good relations with the licensing authorities. With the prevalence of outdoor dining she is proficient at applying for street trading/pavement licences so customers can enjoy the British sunshine when it makes an appearance.
Karen is a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Legal Executives as well as an affiliate member of the British Institute of Innkeeping and an Associate Member of the Institute of Licensing.
