Kate is the HR Manager and is responsible for the overall HR function at the Firm. Kate is an HR generalist with over 15 years’ experience in HR and is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
Kate is responsible for all areas including recruitment & retention, learning & development, performance management and recognition & reward. She works closely with our Team and Group Leaders, Partners and members of staff in these areas and to ensure that firm policies and procedures are followed. She also works closely with the Firm’s Training Partner and is actively involved in the trainee recruitment programme each year.
The HR team as a whole play a key role in ensuring that the friendly culture of the firm is maintained and ultimately aim to ensure the overall wellbeing of the people that work here.
Kate reports directly to the Board and works closely with the Firm’s management to design and implement an HR strategy which is aligned to the Firm’s overall business strategy
Away from the office
Kate has a busy life out of the office running around after her young son and enjoys spending weekends exploring the local area and making plans with friends. Kate also enjoys a city break, with recent trips to Stockholm and Venice added to the ‘passport stamps’; and she also looks forward to planning and organising her family holidays in the sunshine!
