I am the HR Manager at Trethowans and am responsible for the overall HR function at the firm. I am an HR generalist, with over 15 years’ experience in HR and am an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
I am responsible for all HR areas, including recruitment and retention, learning and development, performance management and recognition and reward. I work closely with our Team and Group Leaders, Partners and members of staff in these areas, to ensure that firm policies and procedures are followed. I also work closely with the Firm’s Training Partner and am actively involved in the trainee recruitment programme each year.
The HR Team as a whole play a key role in ensuring that the friendly culture of the firm is maintained and ultimately aim to ensure the overall wellbeing of the people that work here.
I report directly to the Board and work closely with the firm’s management to design and implement an HR strategy, which is aligned to the firm’s overall business strategy
Away from the office
I have a very busy life out of the office running around after my young son, and enjoy spending weekends exploring the local area and making plans with friends. I also enjoy a city break, with recent trips to Stockholm and Venice added to the ‘passport stamps’. I look forward to planning and organising my family holidays in the sunshine!
