Upon qualification in 2003 Kathryn worked at Steele Raymond in Dorset for three years undertaking general Private Client work. Kathryn then moved to Wilsons in Salisbury and expanded knowledge in this area but with emphasis on working for Charities.

Kathryn has over the years accumulated a wealth of experience in Private Client work and specialises in proving lost/copy wills, emergency grant applications and applications under S116 Senior Courts Act 1981. Kathryn also has experience of completing estate administrations which are part completed by other firms of solicitors which have been shut down by the Solicitors Regulatory Authority. Much of the work therefore needs careful analysis to establish what further work needs to be completed and tracing funds which have gone astray. The majority of work has a contentious element to it and Kathryn therefore works closely with colleagues specialising in Contentious Trusts & Probate.

Kathryn takes a pragmatic approach to her work. No two estate administrations are the same, every client is unique, and she enjoys getting to know her clients to ensure their needs are met and takes pride in helping them through difficult times.
