From TUPE, national minimum wage and working time regulation compliance to discrimination, grievances and performance and absence management matters. My particular specialism is strategic planning.   • Providing strategic advice and detailed documentation to support household logistics brand through a global reorganisation involving collective consultation and TUPE issues.
  • Advising a listed company in a bitter grievance between C-suite directors involving regulatory issues.
  • Supporting an offshore global director of a high street bank on exit, including securing favourable terms on LTIPS, Share options etc.
  • Successfully supporting a unionised quasi-public sector organisation with the employment law aspects of the closure of a final salary pension scheme including detailed strategic advice on winning the ‘hearts and minds’ of staff to secure agreement.
  • Successfully securing a ‘drop-hands settlement’ for a senior director of a household brand in hard-fought litigation dispute relating to breach of employment contract/ breach of post-termination restrictions.
  • Securing rejection of Union recognition application for a national manufacturer;
  • Supporting Global HR of household brand in grievance and disciplinary process following allegations of sexual misconduct.
  • Advising on and drafting detailed good leaver/bad leaver provisions in earn out provisions and share option documents.
  • Advising and negotiating favourable terms for an LLP Partner under a retirement deed.
  • Successfully averting litigation in a provision of services discrimination complaint.
