I am a Partner working in the Family Team, based in our Dorset offices. I specialise in all aspects of family law and am a qualified family mediator.
I help clients with all aspects of family law, including divorce and dissolution, children law matters (including complex contact disputes and allegations of harm), financial cases (including cases where there are family businesses, substantial pension assets and inherited wealth), pre-nuptial agreements, separation agreements and cohabitation agreements and disputes.
In addition, I have expertise in helping people with the legal issues they should consider when embarking on assisted reproduction, including donor agreements, co-parenting agreements and surrogacy (both in the UK and abroad). I also have experience in private law adoptions, both domestic and international.
I am supportive and approachable and will always put my client’s interests first. I will keep my clients informed throughout the process and will be proactive in achieving the desired outcome as efficiently as possible.
I am the Chair of Dorset Resolution, and as a member of Resolution, I subscribe to a code of conduct which encourages a non-confrontational approach to family problems. I am also an ambassador for Dorset Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
I am a Recommended Lawyer in the Legal 500 2021 guide which notes: ‘Grant Cameron and Kimberley Davies are also highly experienced practitioners with great track records and are excellent to work with’.
‘I absolutely loved working with Kimberley Davies. She was so efficient, fast, professional, reliable and stood my ground. I couldn’t ask for a better representation. ’ - Legal 500 2022

Away from the office
Away from the office, I love to socialise with family and friends. I enjoy spending as much time as possible at local beaches with my young daughter, but also like to explore sunnier climates as often as I can.
