Mariana has over 20 years’ experience in advising and assisting clients with all matters that are property related. She specialises in all aspects of residential property acting for a variety of private individuals, property developers, investors, first-time buyers and lenders in the acquisition and disposal of freehold and leasehold property. She provides pragmatic, engaging and practical advice to ensure the best outcome is reached for her clients. She is described as a “highly respected senior solicitor” who is “approachable, positive with a can-do approach”.
With a strong emphasis on communication, Mariana prides herself on working closely with other lawyers, estate agents and mortgage brokers to deliver the best experience for her clients during their house move. Accordingly, she accepts repeat instructions from existing clients and recommendations from estate agents and mortgage brokers.
Mariana was instrumental in the creation and rapid growth of Trethowans’ New Build Team that assists buyers of newly build properties. The New Build team is recommended by developers to their buyers and ensures they are well supported during the conveyancing process.
Originally from South Africa, she has strong links with the large ex-pat community is Wiltshire and also serves on the Board of the Salisbury and District Chamber of Commerce.
