I qualified as a solicitor in 2002, having trained in London before moving to Hampshire; I joined Trethowans in January 2019. I have specialised in succession planning and all aspects of Private Client work, including Wills, Trusts and Probate, for 17 years. I chose this area of law because I enjoy advising clients and their families in relation to structuring their personal and business affairs in a controlled and tax efficient manner for succession purposes.
My accolades include:
- Full Member of STEP
- Secretary of STEP Central Southern Branch
- Full Accredited Member of Solicitors for the Elderly
- Panel Solicitor of Alzheimer’s Research UK
- Member of the Law Society of Ireland
I am a Recommended Lawyer in the Legal 500 2021 guide.
Thank you very much for all the help you have given me over the past two years or more. I have been grateful for your expertise and knowledge but also for knowing that I could ask you anything about the process and that you never minded if I asked something more than once - or even three times! You have been very kind and understanding.

Away from the office
I live in Hampshire and spend most of my spare time sailing, playing the trumpet, gardening and spending time with my family in the UK and Ireland. I am interested in classics, having read Greek and Roman Studies at Exeter University. I also enjoy cooking. One of my biggest personal achievements is having a beautiful family.
