Trethowans support for Mark Allen Group in acquisition of agricultural brands
The Corporate team at Trethowans recently advised the Mark Allen Group in relation to the acquisition of several agricultural brands from Lewis Business Media, including Pig World, Poultry Business, Agronomist & Arable Farmer, Farm Contractor & Large Scale Farmer, Weekly Tribune and the newly launched event, Women in Agriculture.
Mark Allen was founded in 1985 and its group provides publications, digital products and events to specialist business and consumer communities.
This recent transaction is the latest of five acquisitions that the Trethowans team have assisted Mark Allen with in the last 18 months. Other transactions have included the acquisition of:
- The Glazing Summit
- EMEX – the Net Zero & Energy Management Expo
- The UK and Asia based assets of the wealth management publishing company, Bonhill plc for £6.5 million.
- Sterling Events
