I joined the firm in 1976 as an Office Junior. After a number of years as a secretary, I took on the role of Office Manager in 1990, before stepping up to the Facilities Manager role in 2007. As Facilities Manager, I have an overall responsibility for many aspects of the firm, including:
- The firm’s premises at each location
- Health & Safety
- Purchasing & maintenance
- Fire & burglar alarms
- Legal books
- Front of house (reception, meeting rooms)
- Archiving
I enjoy challenges and was heavily involved in both the Salisbury and Southampton office relocations, as well as fit outs across all the firm’s offices.
Away from the office
I enjoy spending time with my children and my granddaughters. Living in the country on the edge of woodland with my partner, we both love taking our dogs on long walks.
I also love the theatre, with Les Miserables and Blood Brothers being my two favourite productions.
