I trained with the firm and qualified in September 2019.
I advise employers on a wide range of employment law issues and disputes, including disciplinaries and grievances, unfair dismissals, discrimination and TUPE. I also advise on the employment law aspects of mergers and acquisitions and outsourcing.
For employees, I provide assistance and guidance on all aspects of employment law, including advice on employment contracts, Settlement Agreements and employment rights.
Areas of Expertise
- Advising clients on ways to avoid potential unfair dismissals and potential breaches of the Equality Act 2010 in relation to grievances, disciplinaries and redundancies.
- Carrying out due diligence, specific disclosures, information and consultation and FAQs on TUPE transfers.
- Preparing and advising on the terms of Settlement Agreements and realistic ways of achieving our client’s objectives.
- Preparing cases for the Employment Tribunal, including preparing a case analysis for the client, drafting claim or response documents, drafting witness statements and preparing relevant documents for disclosure.
Away from the office
I enjoy long country walks with my Rhodesian Ridgeback, general arts and crafts and participating in team sports, particularly Netball and Rounders.
