Notable work highlights
- Acted on a claim brought under the Animals Act 1971, where the client had suffered catastrophic injuries following an accident with a horse. Liability was denied but Alice uncovered evidence which discredited the Defendant and a settlement was thereafter agreed at £5 million.
- Acted for a client who suffered a spinal cord injury following a road traffic accident. Due to their injuries, the client was unable to compete in horse riding and eventing as they had done prior to the accident. Alice obtained evidence to ensure provision was made for the client to continue her passion, through rehabilitation, specially trained horses and adapted transport. The claim was settled for in excess of £4.5 million.
