Fran is an experienced Senior Associate Solicitor in the Personal Injury/Clinical Negligence Team.
Fran joined Trethowans in 2007 and since completing her training with Trethowans in 2009 has acted for Claimants in relation to a variety of personal injury and clinical negligence cases.
Notable work highlights
- Frances conducted a complex clinical negligence case, involving several NHS Trusts. There were numerous medical and non-medical experts advising in the case. The case involved the delayed diagnosis of an occlusion which led to life changing complications. The case settled at a joint settlement meeting for in excess of £1 million.
- Frances ran a claim involving complex orthopaedic injuries following an accident at work. The client required significant rehabilitation. Frances worked with a specialist case manager and rehabilitation team which enabled her client to have the maximum benefit from the rehabilitation. The claim settled for £800,000.
- Frances advised in a fall from height case with difficult arguments surrounding liability and contributory negligence. Following negotiations, the claim settled for in excess of £200,000.
