Fern graduated with a First Class Honours in 2019 from the University of the West of England (UWE) and after taking a year out to work and travel she returned to UWE to complete her LPC.
Fern began her position as a Trainee Solicitor in September 2023, having already been at the firm for a couple of years as a Legal Secretary. Fern’s first seat was in our Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Team based in our Southampton Office where she assisted on a variety of cases including accidents at work, road traffic accidents, criminal injuries, asbestos-related conditions, brain and spinal injuries as well as cases of delayed diagnosis and medical negligence generally.
Fern’s second seat was in our Agriculture and Rural Property Department in Salisbury where she assisted on a broad range of transactions, including sales and purchases, deeds of easements and rights of way, planning issues, and notably the sale of an 800-acre farming estate for circa £15 million.
Fern is currently undertaking her third seat in our Private Client department based in our Poole office.
Notable work highlights
- Assisting with high value land transactions, overages and options for properties such as estates, farms and commercial premises (e.g. solar farms).
