Notable work highlights
- Working alongside a Director on a road traffic accident case where the Claimant sustained a catastrophic spinal injury. There were 18 different experts instructed by the team on behalf of the Claimant over the course of the case in order to ensure all aspects of injuries, and their impact on the Claimant’s life were fully investigated and accounted for as part of the settlement.
- Successfully running a road traffic accident case where the Claimant sustained a brain injury, as well as significant physical injuries, which impacted his ability to return to running his own business. Liability was contested and accident reconstruction evidence was required. Court proceedings were issued and served as a result of the Defendant’s refusal to admit liability. Ultimately, after several discussions with the Defendant, a favourable settlement was reached for the Claimant, with no need for a Trial.
- Working on a case where the Claimant sustained significant injuries in a road traffic accident, including internal injuries that meant they required a kidney transplant. The Claimant spent several months in hospital and required a large amount of care and support on returning home. The Claimant’s injuries meant that early rehabilitation was essential and as a result of adopting a collaborative approach with the Defendant a significant package of care and support was put in place, continuing throughout the case and post-settlement. This was instrumental in helping the Claimant with his recovery and adapting to life back at home after discharge from hospital.
