Charities expert Kirsteen Hook hosted a free charity trustee induction and refresher training session. This training session was both a refresher to existing trustees on their legal duties and responsibilities as charity trustees and as an introduction to those who are new to the role. During the course of this training session we looked at key points charity trustees need to know to assist them in fulfilling their role and how to comply with law, best practice and good governance in connection with satisfying their duties as charity trustees.
The training sessions took place from 9.30am to 11.30am on the following dates:
- 18 June 2024 –Trethowans, Poole
- 24 September 2024 – Trethowans, Southampton
